This is a curated version of my Sensory Percussion Tutorials from the past four years. This presentation includes exclusive content guiding you through what I'd recommend focusing on throughout your journey to maintain focus and creative productivity. From just starting out, to deep integration with Sensory Percussion + Ableton Live, the set files offer an interactive learning experience for any skill level.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

-No experience required with Sensory Percussion. This series assumes you will read the Sensory Percussion manual and can get started making sounds.

-This is not an Ableton Live 101 course. There is plenty of excellent content already out there for learning the mechanics of Live. The Ableton Live Integration segment of this course assumes you are comfortable with audio routing, MIDI routing, and basic recording functionality with Live.

-"I'm not interested is using Ableton Live with Sensory Percussion. Can I just purchase the part of the course that only uses Sensory Percussion standalone?" This course is curated to reflect how I would recommend using Sensory Percussion. Almost all of my creative output with Sensory Percussion includes use of Ableton Live. Even if you choose not to incorporate Live, I think you will benefit from the automation concepts presented in that section.

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

-Sensory Percussion with at least 2 sensors (some videos use 3-4 sensors).

-Ableton Live 11 Suite. 12 /32 videos utilize Live for integration with Sensory Percussion. Older versions of Live may not be compatible with the set files. Live Standard will not be able to leverage M4L aspects (Expression Control, MIDI S&H)

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

-Mac/Windows computer that can run Sensory Percussion and Live 11. It doesn't have to be a super computer, but these applications can be fairly CPU intensive when aiming for minimum possible latency.

-An audio interface that can accept your Sensor inputs.
