Less 2 can be your vehicle to less via nuanced subtlety right through to total dismantlement leaving only fragments behind.

Less 2 chips away sound using scaled random applied to a user-defined blend of three means:

• “Amplitude” applies scaled random to gain reduction.
• “High Pass” applies scaled random to the cutoff frequency of a high pass filter.
• “Low Pass” applies scaled random to the cutoff frequency of a low pass filter.

Use the triangle to mix between the three methods.

Use the “Less” slider to apply the effect. This slider acts as a macro control simultaneously increasing depth and changing the rate as determined by the Depth and Rate Curve Adjusters. Use these curve adjusters to hone in on the intended feeling of the "Less" slider.

Note that both the depth and rate of the effect are still random, however the Depth and Rate Curve Adjusters allow for informing the range and tendencies of possible random values.

Use the “Stereo Independence” control to mix between sharing random values of the effect between the left and right channel and using independent values, enhancing the stereo width.
